Mr. Hansen has over 25 years of experience in investment banking, leveraged finance, corporate development, and business management. Prior to joining Corporate Fuel Advisors LLC in 2004, George was a Managing Director at Fleet Securities, Inc. where he headed Fleet's Corporate Advisory Group and was responsible for building a middle market investment banking business in the New York, New Jersey, and Eastern Pennsylvania region. George began his business career as a financial analyst for Deere & Company, the leading manufacturer of agricultural and construction equipment. He subsequently spent five years at FMC Corporation, in strategic planning and as International sales manager of an industrial equipment business, based in London, responsible for Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Following FMC, George was President of a commercial printing and pre-press business.

In 1986, George made a career shift into banking, structuring leveraged buyout transactions at Manufacturers Hanover Trust's Leveraged Finance group, and subsequently joined Chase Manhattan, as a merger and acquisition specialist in their Corporate Development group. He later moved into Chase Securities, as an investment banker covering diversified industrial corporations, automotive, and trucking. Mr. Hansen serves on the board of the Association for Corporate Growth, New Jersey Chapter. He received his MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business and graduated from the University of Illinois with honors in finance.
